Want to make an even bigger impact? Help us fundraise for the Giving Challenge!

Easy as one, two, three! Save, donate, share!

We are powered by the generosity and dedication of our community.

The Giving Challenge is a 24-hour event supporting over 700 nonprofits serving Charlotte, DeSoto, Manatee, and Sarasota counties. The 2026 Giving Challenge is presented by the Community Foundation of Sarasota County with giving strengthened by The Patterson Foundation. Mothers Helping Mothers is further supported by Five Talent Fund* making this year a triple match opportunity! Donations up to $100 will be triple matched = $300

Fine print: The Patterson Foundation will match all unique donations up to $100 per donor, per organization.
*Up to the first $13,000 in donations made for Five Talent Fund.

1. SAVE

By sharing our mission you can introduce Mothers Helping Mothers to your inner circle and share why you’re supporting us for the Giving Challenge. We have created a toolkit with tips to create social media posts along with email templates and sample texts. You can also utilize our approved photos, videos, logos and templates specifically for the 2026 Giving Challenge.

2. SHARE

Follow these simple steps to maximize your impact:
• Make a personal social media post
• Send 5–10 text messages to friends and family
• Send 3–5 direct messages
• Post a reminder about the triple match during the challenge
• Share a final hours reminder
• Thank your donors
Pro tip: Personal messages (texts & DMs) usually raise more than social posts.

3. CELEBRATE

Send thank you personal messages to everyone that you know donated due to your efforts! Thank them for helping us make a difference for children and families in our community.
