Brandy Grace began serving with Mothers Helping Mothers in February 2023, initially volunteering in graphic design and marketing. From the very beginning, she demonstrated exceptional initiative, leadership capacity, and a deep commitment to community wellness and family support. As organizational needs grew, Brandy stepped into a leadership role within our Education and Class Department. She conducted research and program evaluation to help redesign our class structure to better serve the ALICE (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed) population. Her work helped shift our programming from traditional classroom-style instruction into a more holistic support model that integrates education, emotional support, and real-world application for families navigating financial and emotional stress. In addition to program leadership, Brandy has facilitated trauma-informed support groups for mothers experiencing survival-mode stress, generational trauma, and life instability. She brings compassion, emotional intelligence, and trauma-aware communication into every group she leads. Her ability to hold safe, supportive spaces while empowering mothers toward resilience and healing has had a meaningful impact on the families we serve. Brandy also serves as a Mom Liaison, working directly with community partners to develop collaborative classes and support programs that help families move toward stability and self-sufficiency. Through her relationship-building and coordination efforts, our organization has expanded both programming quality and community reach. Recognizing access barriers for families unable to attend in-person programs, Brandy independently developed an online community platform to extend education, support, and connection to more parents. This initiative significantly broadened our outreach and strengthened continuity of care for families in need. Brandy brings strong organizational skills, leadership ability, emotional awareness, and a genuine passion for holistic wellness and community care.
